This policy explains how BRETT INTELLIGENCE LIMITED (brett, we or us) uses cookies and browser storage on the brett marketing website. It covers this website, including Notes and personalised introduction pages, rather than the separate brett application.
For how we use personal data, see our Privacy Policy. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the controls in the footer.
1. Your choices
Optional settings are off until you allow them. You can accept optional settings, reject them, or choose individual categories. Continuing to browse or closing the preferences panel without saving does not give consent.
Necessary storage remembers your cookie choices and session controls you ask us to remember. Preferences storage remembers your Notes theme. Analytics allows Google Analytics to measure website use. Booking embeds allows an external booking calendar to load inside the website.
We remember your decision in this browser for 180 days. After that period, or if we change the purposes covered by consent, we ask again. Clearing browser storage or using another browser or device may also cause the banner to appear again. If your browser prevents storage, we honour your choice for the current page but cannot remember it between pages.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage keeps information for a website between visits; session storage lasts for the browser session. This policy covers these technologies as well as cookies.
3. Google Analytics
We load Google Analytics only after you allow Analytics. Before you do so, or after you reject it, we do not load the Google Analytics tag or send it measurement requests. We do not enable Google advertising signals or advertising personalisation in this website's tag configuration.
Google Analytics may process device and browser information, visited pages, usage events and cookie identifiers. This website excludes query strings and URL fragments from its configured page and referrer values. We do not load Google Analytics on personalised introduction pages whose URLs contain contact names.
Google processes analytics information for this service. See Google's explanation of Analytics cookies and Google's Privacy Policy. Cookie lifetime is different from the retention of information already received by Google; our Privacy Policy explains our general approach to retention and international transfers.
4. Booking calendars and external websites
Some personalised pages offer a Cal.com booking calendar. We do not load the embedded calendar or its script until you allow Booking embeds, either in Cookie preferences or through the clearly labelled calendar control. This permission does not turn on Analytics or Preferences.
Once allowed, your browser connects to Cal.com. Cal.com receives connection and booking information and controls storage used by its service, such as security, sign-in and preference cookies. Its Privacy Policy explains those purposes. This website cannot read or delete cookies on Cal.com's domain. Turning off Booking embeds removes the embedded service from this website by reloading the page.
You can use the direct booking link without allowing the embed. Links to the brett application, social networks and the survey take you to other websites, whose own privacy notices and cookie controls apply. The survey link redirects to Typeform.
5. Other connections
We load website fonts from Google Fonts and use Formspree to deliver contact-form submissions. These services receive information required for those connections, such as your IP address, and Formspree receives the details you submit. They are separate from our optional Analytics setting. The contact form remains available if you reject optional cookies. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle enquiries and service providers.
6. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change your choices. Optional categories can be turned off individually or together. We stop our analytics tracking and remove accessible analytics cookies when you withdraw Analytics permission. If a third-party script has already loaded, we reload the page to apply the withdrawal safely.
Withdrawing permission stops future tracking; it does not automatically erase information already received by Google or another provider. To request erasure of personal data, contact privacy@usebrett.com. We assess and handle those requests through our privacy process.
Turning off a booking embed does not automatically cancel a meeting or erase records held for a separate lawful purpose.
Browser settings can help you inspect or delete cookies and other storage, including storage on external domains. If JavaScript is disabled, our optional analytics and booking embeds do not load; the preference controls require JavaScript.
7. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. Questions about cookies or personal data can be sent to privacy@usebrett.com.
